I am a patient here at Kindred Heights Hospital. I've been here since September 10th after a leg amputation. They have treated me like a human being. The Nursing Staff is great, caring for me and my welfare. The Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy teams are helping me to get back on track and able to do for myself. Julie Carrillo from Wound Care is taking very good care of my leg. The Kitchen Supervisor is making sure that I get feed and get what I need to to get healthy. I have 2 of the best Doctors in Houston in my o... read more

I had my doubts when I first came about the looks of the place but they provided great care for my mother and clearly explained any issues about my mother. Ms. Julie is one of a kind with a enthusiastic attitude who helped with her wound care. she was very knowledgeable and made sure everything was done correctly and answered any questions. There were some great staff like Amanda, Erika, Tawyna, and others who worked diligently and formed an relationship with my mother. my mother made great progress here and recommend this p... read more

Staying here at Kindred Hospital is the best! The people here go out of the way to make sure you're getting the best care possible. And talk about making sure you're comfortable! I think you even have to be one of God's kids, with one of those amazing hearts, to even get hired here. I've only been here 4 days and I just love these people! My wound care lady, Julie, is so meticulous and smart.. And the nurses and nurse's assistance's that make all of trips to sure you're not thirsty and are eating the right food. They even ta... read more

Ms. Julia is an excellent wound care nurse. She works with dedication and compassion and gives of herself completely. I am witness to her patient care while my friend needed her to help get her wounds under control. She did just that with a smile on her face. My friend, Ms. Valdez, is making a nice recovery and says she feels better. I applaud Ms. Julia for her dedication and drive to help those in need. Thank you Ms. Julia for all you do; you are just what is needed at Kindred!

I have asked for 45 minuets to have the urnal poured out. I bought this to thank attention to staff and everyone was very up set then the SAME THING AGAIN TONIGHT! I am still waiting for anyone to come to this room. After all the upper staff promising me never, I am sitting here going just what happened last night. i do not consider myself as anymore than a patient, at this time be... read more
