Dr. Vanderveen is such a skilled and dedicated surgeon.She used her expertise and caring to craft a plan to do everything she could possibly do to help with my situation. I came to her because I needed a total thyroidectomy due to papillary thyroid cancer. My diagnosis also included Hyperparathyroidism and Hashimoto's thyroiditis. During surgery,she removed my thyroid, the cancerous nodule, an embedded parathyroid adenoma and shaved another along with removing lymph glands and biopsied all .
I have had experience with Doctors in several areas of the medical field. I feel that the experience, I had with Dr. Vanderveen and her entire staff was one of the most personal and satisfying ever. The entire staff treated my wife and I as family, a very rare thing in a now numbers world. I will recommend the Denver Center for Endocrinology to everyone who needs that type of care. Dr. Vanderveen is an amazing surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner. She explained everything to me from my first consultation, before and after my surgical procedure and post-operatively. Her office staff have all been just as helpful and accommodating. I would recommend Dr. Vanderveen to anyone looking for an excellent surgeon specializing in endocrine surgery.
