Everyone in the office is courteous and professional, I was very impressed with the level of care and concern I received. Dr. Vanderveen was so knowledgeable and informative as to what was happening in my body (and what would happen if I didn't do something to stop it) I decided to proceed with the surgery I had been putting off for 2 years. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vanderveen and staff!

I saw Dr. Vanderveen for the first time in autumn 2018. I feel that she and her staff were completely professional, and the office was well run. I feel extremely confident in Dr. Vanderveen's assessment of my thyroid issue.

I *really* appreciated that Dr. Vanderveen was completely straightforward with me about the need to have surgery, as well as how long I could realistically wait if I didn't opt to do it in the near future. Since I'd never had major surgery (except for a C-section decades ago), I was pretty terrified. However, everyone on the wonderful, highly professional staff at DCES made the entire process as comfortable as it could possibly have been. Special shout-outs to Carrie at the front desk and Dr. Va

I have had to have two surgeries associated with my thyroid cancer. Dr. Vanderveen was my choice for the second surgery. Because of my experience with two surgeons working on my problem, I can say with much confidence that Dr. Vanderveen and her staff are a shear joy to work with. All of the folks that I have interacted with on her staff were very professional, very responsive to my requests, and explained things comprehensively. I recommend them enthusiastically.

Dr. Vanderveen and her entire staff are AMAZING! I had the best experience with this team of health professionals. I had thyroidectomy for nodules that looked bad and potentially cancerous. This Dr. went out of her way to answer all my questions and put me at ease before, during and after the surgery. I was lucky that my pathology report was benign - but the care of the Doctor, Rose Medical Facility and all the nurses, front office staff and insurance/scheduler were superb. Highly recommended

I highly recommend this surgeon. I had parathyroid surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago. I have never felt better. Ten years ago my surgeon only removed half of my tumor. I wish Kimberly Vanderveen would have been practicing 10 years ago. She is an amazing surgeon. I have color back in my face and I recovered with ease. Kimberly is so good at this! If I end up with another parathyroid tumor some day, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Vanderveen is an excellent surgeon. She explains your condition and options thoroughly; she is compassionate, patient, and very skilled. Everyone I have encountered in her office is friendly and professional. I highly recommend her!
