Smart, thorough, respectful and kind. Me, a retired RN, have seen good and too casual care. Dr Vanderveen is tops!
Dr Vanderveen is a great doctor and surgeon. She is great with people, explains things thoroughly and spends a lot of time with patients. She is the best in her field. She has great office staff - Paul and Stacy - and great surgical staff too. Nursing staff at Rose is also very caring and professional. I came to Denver from out of town for treatment of my parathyroid condition. I came specifically to be seen by Dr Vanderveen because she is the best. Glad I did! I would recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Vanderveen explained everything about my up coming surgery, she was not rushed and took her time, and was very plesant.
From the front door to the exit sign the staff and Dr. was fantastic. I felt very comfortable. Explains everything a person needs to know.

Had parathyroid surgery done by Dr Vanderveen. Was extremely satisfied with Dr. Vanderveen, her staff and the staff at Rose Medical Center. Had moderate to severe depression prior to surgery. Six weeks after surgery, depression lifted. I have been depression free for a month, so far. I know that isn't the case with everyone, but it worked for me. Wish I had surgery sooner! Scar is minimal. Very glad I had surgery.

My entire experience from the initial visit to pre-op visit, surgery and post op visit was very positive. I can't remember everyone's name that I came in contact with but the PA (Ann?) was great, and the front desk help - Paul and Kerri, were both very helpful and patient. The whole team was a pleasure to deal with. Dr. Vanderveen was exceptional - my surgery was successful and I felt very informed and prepared for it.
