It was my first time there and I want to go back soon. Super good!!!
First time there and food was GREAT, apple cobbler too. Line was out the door by 20 and still only took 20 minutes to sit and eat. BBQ was excellent!!!
Coming from a cook-off family I have had better, was good but not for the price
This is the best BBQ period! If you want to experience quality meat that delivers a great taste, then this is the place to visit. There are no shortcuts taken by Ronnie and his establishment or his preparation to deliver the best product for his customers!
Well,well I have to admit I have never been there, But my son Rene has and he brought me some brisket, sausage and beef ribs and I have to say that all that I ate was outstanding and for all of you that say it is over priced maybe you guys needs to stick to McDonald's maybe the Mc Rib is what you are looking for, mr killlen don't trouble yourself with those negative people continue to do what you do you will v continue to cook great BBQ love you guys from Alberto and Rene valdez
Could I review some of these reviews? Folk, step outside of Houston and visit other top BBQ joints and see how they compare. You might notice that the Houston area does not dominate best BBQ list.
This has to be the best barbecue place in the State. I would highly recommend the pecan pie and the brisket as they are so full of flavor. But beware the jalapeños, which are complementary, are extremely hot. The staff is super friendly.
No other BBQ compares. It was love at first bite and I've been with Killen's ever since.
My husband and I have made 3 hour drives to experience different BBQ. We still have more on our list, but with those experiences I feel comfortable saying Killen's is one of the best in Texas. It's not JUST the meat, it's everything. The sides are to die for. The desserts are always amazing (carrot cake, thank me later.) The staff is always friendly and the place is always clean. If you think you can find better BBQ in Pearland or League City, I just don't believe you. Even our kids cheer when we drive in the parking lot!
