Love this place! The turkey is mandatory! As well as the greens! My only fault with Killen's is that it isn't closer!!! The tolls add up!!'

I've been here so many times and the food is always amazing. Today I had the fried chicken, it is by far the best chicken I've ever had.

Had brisket, lean and juicy, great flavor. Fat was well rendered so it was a melt in your mouth experience. Also has the pork ribs. Will definitely get that again. Meat fell right off the bone with a nice crust that had a nice sweet taste that complemented the smoke flavor and seasoning. Excellent and well worth the time spent in line.

It was good but my husband ordered the two plate meat with Brisket and Ribs..he didn't receive the Ribs.. so we asked about it..they gave him one tiny rib... and then the Beverage Machine wasn't working properly..the Ice kept shooting out all over the place.. and it never seemed to give enough Ice even when it worked.. I left my plate of leftovers there by the beverage machine because forgot it after couldn't get the machine to work.

I've never eaten so much fat off of a brisket and beef rib. To the point it made me sick. Used to be good when they had the big out in the back, now they have the ovens and you can taste the difference. Bring back the pit and go slow and low like you used to. $13 a plate? C'mon. I'll stick to Central Texas Bbq down a few blocks.

Yes, all the meats are incredible, but I want to sing praises for the side dishes. I can't get pass the cream corn, mac and cheese, and bread pudding. As a matter of fact, I always eat them first before I take a bite of brisket, ribs, etc. As I stand in line, I tell myself I will venture out and try a new side. It never happens. I'm that devoted. Thank you, Ronnie Killen and your staff.
