Did nothing my first visit. Just said recheck PSA in 3 months. Second visit again did nothing. He explained biopsy options and I said I would think about it and let him know. I called back and UCI did not know when I was seen by him. His notes said I wanted to wait for a PSA of 10 or higher which we never even spoke about. Dr. Birusingh recently performed my vasectomy and I think he did a fantastic job. 24 hours in and I have nearly zero swelling and very little pain. Far less traumatic than I had anticipated.
From the first visit in October 2019, it was more like a conversation with a friend. He explained things in terms I could understand. His skilled hands with robotic surgery left me minimal side effects. Bedside manner told me he cares. Great person, great doctor. Highly recommend him
Dr. Birusingh did an amazing job with my vasectomy. Needless to say I was nervous, but he did a great job guiding and talking me through it. I felt nothing and recommend him to anyone!
Dr Birusingh performed my vasectomy which appeared to go well until I started experiencing bouts with painful swelling on one side behind the testicle. Which is a classic case of epididymitis. I went to see him to address only that issue and he ordered a scan and talked about a course of antibiotics. He seemed very rushed and spoke about other things that were not symptoms of my condition. Caring, professional,knowledgeable—excellent
Dr Kevin is one of the most caring, dedicated to his patients, physician I have gone too.
I would not recommend him to anyone. He doesn't remember the things he tells you in appointments, can't keep his stories straight, he gets defensive if you question his work, he will use any of your past against you regarding your care, he was unable to be reached after surgery when bad things were happening, barely checked in on his patient, doesn't listen and interupts, had no bedside manner, a chip on his shoulder, and his nurse(s) are just as bad. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Dr. Birusingh performed a prostatectomy with computer robotic assist two weeks ago. Just had the catheter removed today, and post op pathology results. The tumor was contained within the prostate, and no further treatment is needed as of this date! Initial evaluation, biopsy, and surgery were all skillfully performed, with no complications. A very friendly, compassionate, skilled doctor with great support staff. I feel fortunate to have him as my urologist, and highly recommend him.
