Kenton's is an American whiskey bar and restaurant with a menu of the smoked, grilled, and charred flavors that have an affinity for bourbon. The restaurant's namesake is Simon Kenton, a founder of the town of Maysville, the Kentucky port town from which whiskey was first shipped out of state on flatboats. The primary downriver destination was New Orleans where the whiskey gained popularity and perhaps even acquired its name from Bourbon Street.

Loved the stuffed olives with sardines in my Martini. Thanks to a friend who suggested that the bartender made the best martini. Love the Resturant and bar it's friendly, clean and great place to stop by for drinks and dinner.
It was a last minute decision for my birthday dinner, with an infant in tow. However, we were definitely pleased with the ambience, service, and attentiveness of staff. They were considerate of our infant in placing us in good seating. We were also provided a complimentary dessert! It's definitely on my list of restaurants to refer friends to!

great food and atmosphere..the waiters were changing shifts and they did not miss a beat....the chef personally came out and gretted us with a free appetizer which was delicious...reasonable prices...
