Specialties Full Service Restaurant History Established in 2015. Kenton's is an American whiskey bar and restaurant with a menu of the smoked, grilled, and charred flavors that have an affinity for bourbon. The restaurant's namesake is Simon Kenton, a founder of the town of Maysville, the Kentucky port town from which whiskey was first shipped out of state on flatboats. The primary downriver destination was New Orleans where the whiskey gained popularity and perhaps even acquired its name from Bourbon Street.

Incredible meal. I live in Charleston where food quality is very high. I have eaten many meals over 16 Jazzfest years of fine dining 5-6 nights per year. One of the best. Great service. No week spots in the meal. Fried oysters were the best I've ever eaten. Parfait delicious. Bread light and buttery sinful. Food was fresh, fresh. Every bite delicious. Rock star meal.
What a great evening! Excellent food and great service. Management and staff are to be commended. We had a group of 8 from Kenton,Ohio. We highly encourage everyone in NOLA (whether visiting or locals) to try Kenton's.

What an amazing way for my wife and I to spend our anniversary. This is truly a Grade A Dining experience. From customer service to drinks to food. Everything was absolutely great. We will definitely be going back soon.
What an amazing atmosphere & dining experience. Beautifully decorated (ask about the hand painted glass partition between bar & booths), great staff/Meranda, & delicious food with farm to table focus. Thank you Mani for the details!
