I had a fairly decent meal ordered the broiled seafood platter. However being in Maine and ordering lobster I was very disappointed that all I could taste was salt very very salty!!! Couldn’t even tell it was lobster because it was so salty. My scallops and shrimp were a tad over cooked but still delicious!! I did mention the lobster to my waitress but nothing was done to remedy the issue. Great food, friendly service and nice views of the river.
Had dinner there last night. Was concerned by the 3 stars on Yelp and the empty parking lot, but we went in anyway. Wait staff was pleasant enough and the location was nice, right on the river. As for the food, the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup was a great value and excellent. The fried clams and oysters was over cooked and very small portions for the price- extremely disappointing. The fish and chips were acceptable, but also over cooked. We had a wonderful lunch!
The restaurant was nice. My husband’s meal was good. I got nachos which were burned and they did not send them out. Waited a long time for redo for chips with cheese, peppers, lettuce as toppings! Expected jalapeños, guacamole was not good, looked like baby food.
