Absolutely love this place! The view and the food. Fried parsnips are the BEST!! Be careful of the fire sauce- it’s hot, but so tasty!
My classmates and I visit and have lunch at Kennebec Tavern every summer. It is awesome. The wait staff is amazing. In the food is spectacular. JP
Patio Bar was great—nice view and top-notch service. As we were leaving we wanted two t-shirts. We were directed to the hostess who couldn’t be bothered as she was on a personal phone call. She told us the inside bartender would help us, he couldn’t be bothered either and told us to see our server. No thanks.
Attended a company lunch on Wednesday... it took almost 3 hours for lunch and dessert. The hostess shattered a glass of water all over a few of us.... accidents do happen. Took almost an hour to just get dessert.... my lunch the summer gobbler was like a piece of raw Hyde turkey... and to top it off the women's bathroom smelled of urine so bad it cut your breath off!! Nothing has changed... poor food, service, and disgusting bathrooms!! Save your money!!

we stopped in for lunch yesterday after a recommendation at the Chamber of Commerce. got the seafood platter which had fresh salmon, Lobster as well as scallops along with a jasmine rice/quinoa/bean medley, sauteed green beans and asparagus and heirloom tomato salad. food was delicious and served promptly, the bartender and server were both very friendly. will definitely go back when we're in the area! oh and they have seating outside with a nice view of the river 😎
Good lunch but still unclear why we couldn’t eat on the patio when there were available tables.
