We just had an extremely poor experience in the ER trying to get my little boy, who is autistic, seen after a grand mal seizure. I was told in a very rude and obnoxious manner that it would be 2 hours before he would be taken in. I would add that although I was upset, I was extremely polite. No compassion at all from the front desk person, he seemed absolutely annoyed that I even approached him. Something’s wrong when a young child is put at the bottom of the list.

If you have another option, DO NOT GO HERE. Every time I've come in, the incompetence has been rampant, not to mention once they put me on a DIRTY BED AND LEFT ME IN A CROWDED HALLWAY FOR OVER AN HOUR! They don't care at all about the patient, just how many tests and procedures they can do to jack up your bill. Every person I know who has had to come to BRH has had similar experiences. STEER CLEAR. they DO NOT have your best interest at heart.

This is about the ER and I have left messages with the hospital. We had a similar experience with my mom a few months ago. Last night, my son was having horrible abdominal pain and it got worse and worse. We went to the ER at 2:30am and were hoping it was not his appendix. most of nurse's were rude and doctors definitely do not discuss patient care between attending and doctor performing surgery.

RecommendedMedical City McKinney is top notch in every way. However they do have one recent problem: Their web site advertises that the COVID-19 vaccine is available as of Dec, 28 at their 4500 Medical Center Drive address for people in the 1B category (65 and older with at least one underlying risk factor). But when I showed up there this morning, Dec. 30, they said their web site is in error. In a pandemic, that's a pretty big error.
No one should have to wait 5.5 hours to get pre-surgery blood work done. My appointment was at 1pm & I left your facility at 5:30pm. Ridiculous!
After triage, we’ve been sitting here 4 hours. X-rays done, Covid test done...that’s it. No communication from anyone. People are frustrated and leaving like crazy. Getting ready to leave.
