We are one of many Kansas City barbeque restaurants around the city but unlike most we still serve barbeque in that true KC tradition. And by Kansas City tradition we simply mean that we are preparing our barbeque and food products today as it has been done in the midwest for over 100 years! Overall, simplicity is the key word in our operation. To this day, the atmosphere and cooking methods have virtually remained unchanged, evoking a pleasant step back in time and memories of fantastic BBQ.

Quaint little shop. Great food. Truckers frequent more than locals from Oak Grove. That’s crazy and I say support your locals.

Amazing food great service stop every time we come thru
we tried the Sedalia location. We found the pulled pork was very dry and inedible. I thought the ribs were good and the burnt ends while tiny were ok. I would suggest not trimming so much of the fat off of the pork before smoking it. your sweet sauce was good but it tasted very familiar. might have given me the Blues.. Maybe we will try another more established location like the Oak Grove one to see if it's the same.
I recommend the truckers special a slab of ribs 2 pints of sides for 28.00
This place is amazing and has excellent food and excellent owners! They are friendly and make some amazing bbq please go check it out!
