We are one of many Kansas City barbeque restaurants around the city but unlike most we still serve barbeque in that true KC tradition. And by Kansas City tradition we simply mean that we are preparing our barbeque and food products today as it has been done in the midwest for over 100 years! Overall, simplicity is the key word in our operation. To this day, the atmosphere and cooking methods have virtually remained unchanged, evoking a pleasant step back in time and memories of fantastic BBQ.

Great food, place, and people you can ask for. They treat their customers well!!!
Cajun potato salad, cheesy corn and of course the ribs. Get the truckers special.
ribs were spoiled or old meat I left them on my plate . the brisket and burnt ends had been heated in microwave and dried out . the mac and cheese is almost certainly Kraft from a box and cheesy corn is just cheese and corn without any additional seasonings. The beans were ok but lacked any meat like you get most places . On a good note they had good service and good sweet tea along with the Chocolate peanut butter Buckeyes I bought there 😉

Absolutely the best ribs I've had in a long time!! Their house sauce and their spicy sauce are both good. Only mishap, we ordered burnt ends and brisket along with trucker special, I even asked the guy if they were in there, he said yes, got back to motel in grain valley to find out they weren't kinda bummed I didn't get to try them! They did offer to come back the next day, but, we were in town for a chiefs game, so we didn't have time. Highly recommended!!
