Having the pleasure of working alongside Dr Rao in the hospital I knew first hand how amazing she was with her patients. I have been looking for a new primary for almost a year. She was recommended by my surgeon’s coordinator. Very, very happy and reassured to have found her and her office! I’m an RN of 38 years and not an easy patient to impress, nor easily feel comfortable with healthcare provided by others.
Dr. Rao was thorough, asked good questions, and spent a good amount of time with me going over difficulties I have been encountering with a new prescription. Her office has followed up multiple times on the same issue. Dr. Rao’s manner was that of a partner in my health and I appreciated that.
Dr Rao was assigned as the hospitalist when my mother was in the ICU. Because of this, she was the one who had to do my FMLA paperwork, which she charged $85 dollars for. Not only did she charge that much, but the clinic would not accept the form by email or fax, and required me to print it out and physically bring it in to the office, which was made more difficult by the fact that I do not live in Florida.
