Great people watching Love the food, great ambience, and people watching is among the best in LA. I would recommend a reservation on weekends as it gets very crowded. Also, very affordable parking. PROS: People watching, outdoor dining CONS: expensive
Go here for your birthday! The food here is amazing!! I love that you can order small pieces of meat from their grill- I love the Chilean sea bass. Also, the sushi is high quality. The mojiots definitely don't skimp on the booze. Come here for your birthday and they put a huge sparkler-type candle in your dessert- it's amazing! Make reservations!
Katana Katana is a great sushi and robata restaurant. The patio overlooking Sunset Boulevard is spectacular. The drinks are good and it is a great place for people watching!
Sushi & Robata...what more can you ask for? All my experiences at Katanas have been great. The sushi is delicious and robata is unparalleled in taste and quantity. The bar is exceptional...try the Fusion, its great!

Fun Sushi Bar on Sunset Blvd If your in the mood for sushi, Katana's is a really fun place to hang out. Its right on the Sunset Strip so after your finished with your food you can walk down to tons of bars and clubs. The atmosphere is super trendy but still very down to earth. There is an outside patio that overlooks Sunset Blvd.
One of my favorite places in LA Best sushi. Always hopping. Fun place with great waitstaff - consistent as well.
I can't speak to the quality of food, but I can tell you that you will be judged by your appearance and turned away if you don't meet the "dress code". I would never dine at a place that judges me based on the way I look. Doesn't everyone's money spend the same? I hope people will take this into consideration before patronizing this judgmental establishment.
Did somebody say saki and more saki? Great sushi and the place is just alive. Ask the chef to get creative and there is magic.
