I really like Dr Steffer. She is very personable and made me feel very comfortable when I came to see her. I was very stressed out and depressed because I had so many gastro problems. The doctor I had been going to for years was NOT helping me at all, One visit with Dr Steffer and a couple of tests and I am now on a medication that allows me to live a normal existence. I am so thankful for her. I have always had a very good positive experience in the office too.
I relocated to DFW 5 years ago and my old GI doctor where I use to live from was the most awesome, caring and compassionate doctor ever. He cared about his patients. Since in DFW it is so difficult to find caring doctors Dr. Steffer is just NOT that caring type of doctor. It takes a long time to get an appointment to see her (month or longer) then when you see her. She rushes and does not listen to you. Her nurse and scheduler are rude. Only really nice and caring person is her PA.
I had a great experience with Dr. Steffer and everyone involved in my recent procedure. I felt genuinely cared for and was confident that I was in good hands. I am so grateful to have found such an amazing physician and team of care providers!
Everything was perfect!! Doctor Steffer is fantastic and her staff is excellent!! My procedure was done in Flower mount, I felt like home, staffs there was also excellent!!
Dr. Steffer was thorough in her questions about my symptoms and my medical history. She wasn't in a rush to get to the next patient. She explained possible (and not probable) issues. She also described possible treatments and medications and gave some samples which gave me some relief after the first use. Dr. Steffer listened to me, which was the main reason I left my previous Gastroenterologist. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I would be happy to recommend Dr. Steffer as she is caring, contentious and really cares about her patients. She will give you a hug if you need it.
I have seen Dr. Steffer several times over the last year for a newly-diagnosed condition, and she has been great. I appreciate that she takes the time to explain things, answer my questions, and listen to any concerns I have. I can tell she cares not just about the medical diagnosis but about the "whole patient." The appointments also run on time (probably because the office constantly reminds you of the "arrival time" 30 minutes prior to the actual appointment time, but I appreciate it).
Dr. Staffer was very caring, answered all my questions and listened carefully to my responses. I would definitely recommend her.
