I had severe pain for almost a year. The orthopod in NV was treating me with steroid shots and PT. Dr. Karas repeated the MRI and within 3 days did surgery to repair 3 full thickness tears. I have had ZERO pain since that surgery in 2021
After reviewing my MRI, Dr. Karas was 100% sure he wasn’t going to operate on my shoulder. That I’m big and unhealthy so I wouldn’t heal (despite my record of having successful surgeries and procedures in recent years). He took my arm and moved it up and down and said I have range of motion (without consideration for the level of break-through pain even when I’m already on pain meds for other health issues), that I have osteo-arthritis and age-related issues (~62), so all I need is a steroid injection and PT. Surgery on shoulder for torn bicep tendon
Dr. Karas did my rotator cuff surgery, and did a great job, only issue was with pain meds after. They give you a very small amount for a large surgery. My pain dr. said that they should have set me up with a pain dr before surgery. other than this he was awesome! 5* Dr.
Dr. Spero Karas is in a league of his own. Phenomenal Surgeon, great guy and is a step above all the other surgeons.

Dr. Karas provided great care for my shoulder injury. Took a conservative approach and only recommended surgery when it was evident that PT was not going to resolve my injury.
