We adopted a puppy from there today. He's SO sweet, and loving his new home. The staff was friendly, helpful, and overall great! Buddy (the little black puppy), now named Hunter, is enjoying his new home!

I have adopted two dogs from here, one for my grandma and one for me. They've both been GREAT dogs! My grandma had always wanted a Papillon, and I was staying the night with her shortly after both her husband and dog had passed, and I was looking on the KHS website and there was a Papillon! My mom and I went and got him for her the next day. His name is Rocket and he's been a great dog for my grandma! We adopted a dog a week before Thanksgiving and the staff was super! They worked with us on her adoption fee because of some health issues with her. We love her and am glad the KHS was there for her, her past family and our family.
