I’ve been looking at adopting another dog for awhile now and have visited the shelter a few times. Every time I’ve visited there has been at least an hour wait to visit with a dog in person with pages of paperwork and after waiting the animal you wish to visit with and consider could already be adopted. I’ve adopted from the Lawrence Humane Society and only had to fill out paperwork once I had decided on a animal and know that I’m able to take the animal home. Yesterday I adopted a beautiful funny dog. There was one person ahead of me to look at him, but they let me spend time with him first since she was also visiting another dog. I understood that she was able to say that she wanted him before me. 10 minutes or so later, one of the workers came outside and said "good news! He's yours!" I jumped up and down so excited and happy. My boy was given medicine and he is the happiest dog in the world. I am so in love with my dog and the staff was amazing. We adopted zues in Sept and he has been such an amazing dog!! He fits in great with the family and is very well loved. So glad we found him!!!
My Daughter got Lucy and she is the best dog ever . she gain 3ibs and she is doing great !!!! we love Lucy so much . Lucy waits for her mom everyday to come home from work and when mom gets home Lucy is so happy to see mom . she has tore up four toys . a teddy bear , a green frog , and two balls . so Lucy is going to pet smart to get a new toy and she will get to pick it out . she loves to go to the mailbox with her uncle . we had a cat and Lucy and Milo were best of friends . but Milo real mom came by and took him home :( i... read more
