Went here for a celebration dinner 8-9-13 for my daughter's graduation from nursing school, had my bank card info copied, sold to Georgia which some one then made and used as a credit card to swipe in Walmart yesterday at 1246 and purchase $153.00 of what...per Suntrust they then attempted to use my card 2 other times at gas stations but the card was blocked by then. If you are at Mall – Kanki is good if you've finished shopping and have dinner or lunch with out having to drive again. I had dinner there several times and as I am very picky on my sushi I did not enjoy my sushi dinner there. I thought most of nigeri sushi I had was from frozen blocks and is not from a top grade fresh fish (meaning fresh whole fish), yes it was fresh frozen type of fish. Kanki's Habachi is very good which I usually have, their decoration and service has been comforting.

Sushi and steak house – Kanki is a excellent place for entertainment and a wide spread choice of japennesse food. Cooks prepare everything right before your eyes maintaing tricks on grill while you observe. Food is great aswell is sushi a bit pricy but great.
LOVE IT! Make reservations – Kanki is a favorite of my family. We do mostly go on special occations. We also go with friends. It is more fun and when they are busy the service is better and food is always great! love it!! I usually make reservations and go to the one in Raleigh on Glenwood! Going tonight!
Best in the triangle period!!! – Ultimately the best sushi in the triangle!! what sets them apart is the highest quality fish with no exceptions. The other places order secondary fish or say scraps at low cost because they pay their sushi chefs so much $$$$. Atmosphere is great. a bit crowded due to the mall traffic. And I hate going to the mall. Overall, excellent fish selection. If they offered an authentic menu Kanki would just be the best Japanese Restaurant in the Triangle. Also, try the Hibachi side!!!!! Good??!!!?? What is so good? – First of all...I'm writing the review on sushi....but the teppanyaki?...it's THE worst tasting I've had in country. But I soon found out that all teppan place in the triangle are the worst tasting i've had in country. So if you crave teppanyaki food...go ahead...because you have no choice. WAIT! WAIT! YOU HAVE TO WAIT! – First of all, I must agree that the service is awful. The waitresses are not friendly and they act as if you are a nuissance. Second, we waited for over 45 minutes after we ordered our food for the chef to come over to our table to prepare the hibachi. Also, I went there with some people that wanted hibachi, but I wanted sushi. Delicious! – I have been to Kanki on numerous occassions and it is one of my favorite restaurants. I love the sushi, it is terrific especially the california roll. I'd recommend the habachi chicken or the habachi shrimp it's excellent and the chefs are very personable and always friendly. I would advise going with a big group instead of a date it isn't really ideal for a date and well I think it's always better with a large group of friends.
