Affirmation without therapy is not care — it’s neglect. This clinic affirms vulnerable youth without addressing the why behind their distress. Many are autistic, same-sex attracted, or dealing with trauma and anxiety. They deserve time, exploration, and mental health support — not fast-tracked medicalization. *additional edit* I spoke with the co-founder 2 weeks ago and he promised me a phone call the next day by reception to schedule an intake appointment. 2 weeks and no phone call. This is NOT ok. They will not have me as a client. *edit* The co-owner has reached out to me and we have worked to resolve the matters. They do only have one therapist who accepts medicare/medicade.
