RecommendedWe walked in, sat down, and was greeted by a very sweet server. The spinach dip was so delicious. I wished I ordered a 2nd one. The El Rey was beyond amazing. I didn't really know what to expect. Our drinks were always filled and we really enjoyed ourselves. We chatted up with our server and she told us that the restaurant is connected with Gruene Hall and Gristmill. No wonder. Great restaurant, Great service, and great food.
Unbelievably good food! Our waitress was so sweet-even brought a heater out for us when we started to get chilly. I had the anticuchos and I couldn’t be happier! Can’t wait to go again!!!! Price is high, but worth it!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! 😱 After a long international or domestic trip, nothing says Welcome Home like stopping directly at Josephines from the airport for dinner. I consider this place my second kitchen.
