I walked into the place and was greeted by a very friendly wait staff. The decor was a cool and rustic setting - they made great use of the space. I chose my seat and was promptly seen to by a nice waitress. I placed my water order and perused the menus as she got the water. She returned and I ordered the ribeye with a peppercorn crust, green beans, and a Basil Hayden. The steak arrived and I noticed an onion ring garnishment and a small plastic cup of something that looked like butter. I tasted the steak and immediately reg... read more

Terrible food, don't know what happened, used to be good. The cooks, not chefs need to learn what French fries are. What the cooks are cooking aren't French fries but what they cook are cold, soft, and greasy! Will never ever return, must be the tourists that keep them in business, unless the locals they get, don't know good food. Mamma's Cafe is still serving great food, take the drive I did last night and it is still AWESOME FOOD!!!!

Business response:

Thanks for letting us know about your experience. So sorry your fries were not delicious! We are always happy to replace any dish that doesn't turn out like it's supposed to. In this case, while our fries aren't meant to be crispy, they are definitely supposed to be HOT and delicious! So sorry! Were you able to let your server know about your fries so they could replace the side for you?

I have never been before. It was recommended to take me there. My wife took me and our waitress was awesome. T.J. went over a few main things with us and was very nice. I had the Steak and Shrimp. My wife had the special Meatball Marinara. Everything was delicious and I will be returning. The decor and the tree in the center added to the already pleasant atmosphere.
