The Josephine Street Cafe was founded in 1979 by Patrick S. Molak. The Building has been around long before it was turned into the famous Texas Roadhouse it is today. Delicious home style food. Steaks cooked to perfection and the catfish was amazing
Tenderest and juiciest T-bone steaks in town. Their spinach salad is wonderful, too.

This place was so yummy! It’s down home cooking and you can tell they know exactly what they’re doing� I had the chicken fried chicken with green beans & mashed potatoes (the green beans are a MUST HAVE). My husband had steak and shrimp with mashed potatoes, the steak was so tender! Will definitely be making hour and a half trips from our little town to have food here. �

It is a hidden gem for out of town people like us. We really liked it here and would probably visit again when traveling through Texas next time. Too bad we forgot to take a picture of the tree growing through the floor of the restaurant.
We were a party of 9. We ordered the anticuhcos and the wings. The anticuchos were great but 3-4 out of the 8 wings were not fully cooked. The last two I bit into were still showing a lot of pink and some blood! One of our friends ordered the salad with beef and she ordered the beef medium rare and it came out medium well! She had to return her plate. So she ended up eating by herself.
