I was very satisfied with this provider’s expertise
After telling this Dr. several times the top of my ear was sore she would look at it and tell me I had a little scar tissue there. Recently I went to a different Dr. who told me that was skin cancer. He took a sample and sent it off for a biopsy. Came back positive for cancer. Now I look like I have been bitten by a shark.
Not happy at all. In a hurry and didn’t act like she cared at all. Won’t go to her again
Generously treated my granddaughter gratis due to lack of insurance. Really knows her area of expertise. Excellent interpersonal skills
I am 34wks pregnant and went to see Dr. Futrell to look at a very itchy rash that has recently appeared. After deciding it did not look like PUPPPs (the most common pregnancy rash) she deemed it necessary to do a punch biopsy for this rash (not recommended by the AAFP I later found out). My experience with this doctor was very rushed and not informative at all. She was not personable and told me what I had been doing to help (that worked) was a waste of time. I do NOT recommend her.
Dr. Futrell is very friendly. She is a great doctor that takes time to explain what is going on and the treatment plan involved. The staff is friendly and helpful, always makes sure that all my questions and concerns have been addressed during my appointment time.
Dr. Futrell is amazing. She is honest, compassionate, intelligent, and on time. I have never had a bad experience at her office. She treats my medical issues while also taking the time to address overall skin care and cosmetic concerns. She is truly one of the most competent, well rounded physicians that I have met, and I would recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for an excellent dermatologist
We were referred to Dr. Futrell by our pediatrician. She was very patient with her even though she was scared. She was able to talk to her in a way she could understand which was very important to me. Since then, our whole family has started using her as our dermatologist. We very rarely have to wait a long time to be seen either, which is nice when you have a busy schedule. We highly recommend her.
I have always been pleased with Dr. Futrell. She is very thorough and always ask before she leaves the room if she answered all of my needs and questions. Excellent physician and very pleased. Highly recommends her as a physician!
