Incorrectly diagnosed me. Kept feeding me antiobiotics for an infection that I didn't have, when my issue was an overactive bladder (weak muscles in the pelvic area).
Rude and condescending. Very immature.
My experience with Dr. Jamal was excellent. I was diagnosed with a mass on my kidney by my urologist who promptly recommended Dr. Jamal. Dr. Jamal explained my options and I decided to have a partial nephrectomy. Before the surgery Dr. Jamal explained the robotic process to me and reviewed the findings to me in great detail afterwards as to the outcome and what I could expect in the future. Dr. Jamal saved my life. After being diagnosed with a rare aggressive kidney cancer, Dr Jamal was able to remove my kidney and all the cancer. Not only is he gifted in his medical profession, he is one of those doctors you just want to hug. He has a wonderful way of explaining things so you understand and you can hear the passion for what he does in his voice. Being a doctor seems to be more of a vocation to him, then just a career. Dr Jamal performed my prostatectomy at St Catherine’s Hospital, which I highly recommend. I had minimal pain post op and little side effects which have been getting better in time. It’s been four months and my psa is undetectable. If you’re opting for surgery, Dr Jamal is the best.
Being diagnosed with kidney cancer was shocking news, especially since cancer doesn't run in my family. I, and my family, were in disbelief. Dr. Jamal was recommended to me by another urologist. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease while describing the surgery and what was going to happen. Within a month, he had taken care of everything. The surgery was a success. Good job Dr. Jamal!

I went to Dr. Jamal about a month ago and I was very nervous because I had experienced "an issue". Dr. Jamal completely calmed me down and told me that what I had experienced sounded like an isolated incident and he suggested waiting a month to see how things went. He then gave me non-invasive suggestions on how to help with my problem and did a sonogram just to alleviate any fears I had. He was kind and caring and had a reassuring smile the entire time he spoke to me. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Jamal is a great surgeon and a warm and caring physician. My surgical outcome exceeded expectations. I highly recommend him and his staff.
