Dr. Alvarez is an amazing doctor. Not only does he spend time diagnosing but he actually goes the extra step to listen. I recommend him as a number one cardiologist.

I actually look forward to appointments with Dr. Alvarez and his staff. I always leave knowing more than I did coming in and feel reassured that the path I've been put on is the best for me and my family. They are all friendly, cheerful, and professional in addition to being extremely competent. Of course, I may be a bit biased given that Dr. Alvarez literally saved my wife's life.

Dr. Alvarez has been my cardiology doctor since installing my stent about 8 or 9 years ago. I liked and trusted him from the first visit. He put me at ease and I felt confident that he would do his best for me. His staff is professional but accessible. I feel comfortable talking to anyone in his office. I never feel rushed or get the sense that they are in a hurry to get to the next patient. I am the most important person in the room and I feel that with each visit.

Dr. Alvarez took excellent care of my wife when she had a heart attack. Afer which time I started to go to Dr. Alvarez
Dr. Alvarez does an excellent job in accessing a patient's needs. He then advices to the patient the right medical route to take. He cares about the patient as a person.
I have to totally agree with the person with not getting call backs. Their answering service all calls placed before 10:00 AM will be returned by 5:00 PM same day, that's a joke. Dr Alvarez is a very good doctor but cant say that about his staff. This has not only happened once, twice, three times but SEVERAL.

Good luck trying to book an appointment; I've yet to have my phone call returned. Dr. Alverez needs to shake up his office staff. The lack of response to messages left is a chronic problem with this practice.

He is very friendly and takes his time with you. I feel extremely safe with him.
I would recommend Dr. Alvarez to anyone needing a cardiologist. He takes time to explain things in an understandable way, spends time answering questions and is on the cutting edge of developments in his field.
