Great physician! Took time to listen to my issues, and was very compassionate and informative.
My wife and I are patients of Dr. Jorge Alvarez and are Very pleased with the care we have received. Dr. Alvarez is a very highly respected Cardiologist and this fact lead us to seek his care. Doctor and medical staff were very professional caring at all times made feel at ease. Methodisit Hospital staff were so wonderful that my daughters could stop talking about them, since from checking in to checking out. The nurses were so genuine and caring.

have been his patient for 10 years, he is a good doctor, but his bedside manner is not that great. If he wants to joke, be friendly, he will be if not he is very curt. He is very moody.

Dr. Alvarez and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and understanding. Like a lot of us old folks, we have more than one issue that we must deal with as far as medical care is concerned. These folks are extremely capable of navigating the various concerns that I have and better yet, they are very friendly, that means a lot because I am hard to please.
My mother (96) has been a patient of Dr. Alvarez for approximately 10 years. To be brief, he is always professional, congenial and, most important, caring. The same is true for his special assistant Mallory. They both take whatever time is necessary to address her needs and our questions--you are never rushed!! We are so fortunate to have my mother under their care. Dr. Alvarez and his staff's practice is "what medical care is supposed to be like!!! "
