I was immediately called by the nurse. Then Dr. Alvarez's Nurse came in to check with me to ask about my follow-up visit. Dr. Alvarez then came in right after that. I had all of my questions answered and he scheduled another appointment in Mid March to make sure everything was on track. I highly recommend Dr. Alvarez and his staff to take care of any heart problems. I was finished at 11:30.
Dr. Alvarez is very thorough, explains everything and. Dry professional. I have often recommended him to my friends and neighbors.

My last visit was very pleasant & professional. I was checked in right after that I arrived. The next assistant got me ready to see the nurse & Dr. Alvarez. Had an informative visit with my Dr. Alvarez he did my evaluation & I was on my way to check out. Had a change in my meds.
Referred by Dr Bucay(another cardiologist) for bad aortic valve. During screening he discovered blockage and installed 2 stents and I never felt a THING! My understanding from other people and people in the medical field is that he is the top rated heart surgeon is San Antonio. He will do a valve replacement on me in January/2020 and he has my complete trust.
