Great doctor!!! Very patient and informative.
My last visit was very pleasant & professional. I was checked in right after that I arrived. The next assistant got me ready to see the nurse & Dr. Alvarez. Had an informative visit with my Dr. Alvarez he did my evaluation & I was on my way to check out. Had a change in my meds.
Referred by Dr Bucay(another cardiologist) for bad aortic valve. During screening he discovered blockage and installed 2 stents and I never felt a THING! My understanding from other people and people in the medical field is that he is the top rated heart surgeon is San Antonio. He will do a valve replacement on me in January/2020 and he has my complete trust. I have been going to Dr. Alvarez for many years.. I would not go to any one else. He is a caring and wonderful Dr. My husband and son also go to him and they love him. He did my surgery a few years ago and it was a success. He really is an amazing Dr.
