Dr. Jorge Alvarez and his support team (Denise Vega MSN ACNP, Mallory RN) and support staff (Valerie, Elisa, and Paula M.O.S.) are very professional. Dr. Alvarez immediately puts you at ease and asks the appropriate probing questions to determine your state of health. He ensures that I'm taking the correct meds. The Patient Portal is a fantastic link to this amazing team. I have used it many times and always with a quick reply via the portal or a phone call. This is my Cardiology home.

Dr. Alvarez is in my opinion an accomplished cardiologist. I have known about him since he literally saved my wife's life a few years ago. It happened when she went in for a DNC, a fairly simple procedure, she stopped breathing when she was brought out to the recovery room. Her gynecologist rushed up to get Dr. Alvarez to quickly come down to help with her. He figured out quickly what wad wrong and fixed it the next day. She has been her cardiologist since. Not enough space to say more.

Dr Alvarez is an excellent doctor. He helped me immediatly upon my arrival placing 3 stints in my chest in spring of 2015. I’m doing well and he and his associate Denise have watched over me carefully. I consider them both as blessings.

Was my first experience going to a cardiologist, and needless to say I was very nervous not knowing what to expect. But Dr. Alvarez and his staff were so friendly, explaining each step, that I was immediately put at ease. Actually enjoyed the visit and conversation. Although I have a return visit, am kinda looking forward to seeing them again!
