My cat had a wound on it's tail from a fight that was begining to become infected. A big heart felt THANK YOU! I was referred to Dr. Johnson from friend I have grown up with in PA. When I pulled up I can tell you the aesthetics were not so pleasing to the senses, but that was not my concern as much as the health and well being of my pets, so I quickly put that aside. They are part of the family... I have been taking my four legged family members to Dr Johnson for 6 years now. She has always treated all my animals with dignity, respect and love. She is well educated and stays current on veterinary medicine. 9 weeks ago, one of my dogs fell 10 feet off a slide and tore the ligaments in his right front wrist. No Other Veterinarian I Would Use I am the client to which Bill G. is referring to in his review below dated November 17, 2011. I will start with the statement that Dr. Johnsen is the most loving, caring, and giving veterinarian that I have ever encountered. There are simply other low cost vets with better reputations! I am NOT a customer of Van Arken Pet Hospital. I grew up around 20 years ago on 51st avenue and Thomas. We made frequent trips down Indian School and honestly most of the businesses there are not ones I would recommend. In the past 20 years the area has gotten even worse. I remember that vet clinic from my childhood and remembered never wanting to take my pets there! Even as I child, I knew that place didn't look right.
