My wife has had two major surgeries here in the last 18 months. After both I was assured that she would receive proactive pain management. Last night my wife was not able to sleep because there was a mismanagement of the orders. Additionally, a nurse left her on a commode for 30 minutes. This is totally unacceptable. However, I will not receive any information as to why these things occurred. I am appalled by the level of care she has received

My husband was a patient in the Bayview Burn Intensive Care Unit for two weeks this past Fall. He received the best care possible while there. Every person who attended him was caring, compassionate and professional. We are grateful for the wonderful care he received not only as an inpatient but also during the many weeks of follow up with PT, OT and clinic visits. We thank all the staff for their excellent care. My sister and I booked an appointment in October for an appointment on January 7. We flew from Atlanta and spent lots of money on our flight, hotel, transportation and food. We arrived at our appointment today and we were informed that our appointment had been moved to February 11th and 12th. The problem is that no one informed us. We spent the entire day there while waiting for the administration to figure out what happened.
