Been going for 40 years. Dolphin boat is the best plate of seafood you can put in your face from anywhere.

Stopped for some quick lunch for first time at John’s Drive in. Wow very pleasantly surprised has to be one of the best burgers I’ve had on the beach in a long time. Service was fast, prices was reasonable and quality of the food was outstanding. Looking forward to trying one of their dolphin baskets next time or some of the other great items on their menu. Definitely a outer banks treasure John’s Drive in is.

The best burger I have ever eaten. Staff was very friendly.
Mmmmmm...sooo good...if we'd found this gem sooner we would had saved a lot of worry about where to eat...it was good enough to go back several times... dolphin was delicious and the popcorn shrimp too...kids loved the chicken fingers an fries!! Just go to John's drive in !
