The refund policy is horrible got sick found mold in our room , ask for a refund for two nights we didn't stay because of mold. They would not refund our money. The manager would not let me speak to any one above her. I contacted the board of health to see where this goes. Would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Chad Carlini very dissatisfied customer
Pictures and descriptions are very deceiving. I asked for and thought I booked ocean front was put in the old part with view of the parking lot. Where they put us had no easy way to the beach. They tried tell me that I had booked the room on on line which was wrong. I called and booked thought their front desk. I spoke with two other guest who also had issues. I won't use them again. Also only dog friendly restaurant was 6 miles down the road on a pourch with no shade and no fans.
Stayed in middle June. The Inn is a pet friendly facility, so barking dogs was an issue the first nite. The office staff was very helpful every time, we visited them. We upgrade the last 3 nights there, and it was the ultimate beach experience. We could watch from our deck as dolphins swam just out from the surf. Could step off the deck onto the beach. The continental breakfast was good, and the lady serving was exceptionally nice, and helpful. I will stay here again.
The front desk clerk had a nasty attitude. One night out room was not cleaned even though we had the maid service requested sign on the door. And two nights in a row we had to ask for towels as we were left only one towel and two washcloths for two people.
Checked in today, June 10. Michele at the front desk was very helpful and the Hotel met all my needs. I used to stay at the big chain hotels, but will be staying here from now on. It's right on the beach, has a pool, free breakfast and coffee and was recently remodeled and everything is new. If you want a "fancy" hotel, go pay for a "fancy" hotel. If you want affordable quality, come to the John Yancey Oceanfront Inn.
It was an older hotel but very clean and convenient. Its good for a shorter stay or for a small family get away.
It is a nice and very cleaned place to stay. Everyone is very friendly
We really enjoyed our stay here!! Hate to leave tomorrow lol Will recommend to all our friends, and Im sure we will be visiting again!!! Thank you all!
