I'm so glad John Wayne is my home airport. Easy in, easy out, easy parking if you have to leave your car. Large variety of carriers and flight availability but not such a huge complex that you need people movers to get around.

Nice airport. However, i found out that flights aren't allowed out until 7am so even though your departure times may be prior to, it won't be departing until 7am. Also the McDonalds doesn't open until after the posted hours by 30 mins or more.
United Jet Way Connectors took 25 minutes to connect jet way to aircraft for deplaning on an hour delayed flight from EWR, insult to injury, bags arrived ahead of passengers, RARE!
Amazingly easy airport. Everyone was very friendly. I almost couldn't believe I was in Southern California!
Good trip. Airport facility was clean. Security was tight and running smoothly. Everyone was helpful and Ali at Javier's was great. Grab some food there!
