This is the only commercial airport in Orange County, situated 35 miles to the south of Los Angeles. It has two runways and parking space for over 7,500 vehicles. Over nine million passengers avail of its services each year, and over 20,000 tons of air cargo is handled here. Three commuter, 11 commercial and two all-cargo airlines operate from the airport too.

I love the layout of this airport. Things are convenient and the people polite. it's so much better than LAX if you're going to SoCal!
I love this airport! Clean, great people working there for any airline, TSA, etc. Always easy and fast getting your luggage. I only fly in there now. No more LAX.
For a smaller airport, it was pleasantly easy to navigate and had plenty of food options. More personal than LAX as well as getting there!!! Going to that area, the best option.

Very convenient to my home and well laid out. Easy to follow signs. Biggest complaint is how long it took to get my checked luggage. At least 30 minutes after flight landed to start seeing luggage at baggage claim area.
If you dress appropriately and use common sense, getting through security is fast and hassle free. 10 times faster than LAX, which is why I'll go out of my way to fly from SNA and avoid LAX - don't have to arrive at airport 2+ hours in advance to stand in line. Only thing I find odd is Delta booking 6:45am flights when local noise abatement means they can't take off until after 7AM.
