I came to see Dr. Barrington to get a second opinion after the first surgeon recommended me to have a total knee replacement. I have never seen any doctor who would spend almost an hour face-to-face with me on my first visit. He thoroughly examined my knee, observed how I walked, and tested my range of motion. I saw Dr. Barrington in 2016 after I was told by a different physician that I would need a complete knee replacement. I felt I needed a second opinion, so when I heard from a friend of my husband’s that he had had knee replacement surgery by Dr. Barrington and raved about him, I made an appointment. When I saw Dr. Barrington, it turns out I did NOT need a complete replacement, but only a partial replacement. That was a good news day! I’ve met with Dr Barrington and he did my knee replacement surgery. He’s very thorough, takes his time, explains things well, and I had a very good surgical outcome. Support staff have always been great.
Dr. John Barrington is an excellent Orthopedic Surgeon with a great staff. His “bedside manner”, best I have ever experienced! One year hip replacement check up revealed great healing. Easiest surgery, little pain, best recovery of any surgery I have had! Happy, happy happy...so grateful!

Doctor John Barrington is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He is concerned about the overall health of his patients that affect their hip, knee, and shoulder joints. He knows the patient's health is directly related to their diet. After his surgeries most scars will slowly disappear.
