Going to see Dr Michel's is like going to see a friend. He is very professional and caring. He takes his time to understand what is going and works with you to see that your pain is handled.
He makes you so comfortable with his energy as soon as he walks in the room so glad I found him can’t wait to get started.
Dr. Michels is an impressive fellow. He has accomplished a lot in his 46 years. Certainly seems to know pain in both patients and himself. We shall see how the pain subsides as treatment continues.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Michels and his staff. They are like family to us. Dr. Michels is a truly compassionate doctor that genuinely cares enough about his patients to spend the extra time to talk and listen* during a visit. He is a responsible and respectable physician. Putting my trust in him has truly transformed my life after years of struggle and a multi level c-spine fusion.
Best doctor I have seen. Great knowledge and attitude. You can tell he really loves what he is doing. Suffered lower back pain for 20 years and had immediate relief after one treatment. Cannot recommend him enough.
I've been seeing Dr. Michels for a few months, and he has been fantastic! He spent an unusually long time with me the first time he saw me (which in itself is unusual for some doctors these days). He has answered every question I've asked in a way I can understand, he is very knowledgeable, is very friendly and easy to talk to, and seems interested in helping me the best way he can in whatever way is best for me. I've been very impressed with him both as a doctor and a person.
Dr Michels is an amazing Doctor. He works very hard to provide quality of life and pain relief through conservative, healthy treatment options. I am very lucky to know this provider.
If you have bad chronic pain, I do NOT recommend this doctor as he does not prescribed the necessary medication and expects you to just deal with your chronic pain. He also takes over a week to get back to you when you call him. He does not have enough experience to treat bad chronic pain.
Dr. John Michels is the most effective and caring doctor I have ever encountered. I was suffering from periformus syndrome which caused severe nerve pain stemming from my lower back down both legs. Not only were four previous doctors unable to help me, but they were unable to even properly diagnose my condition. Upon my first visit to Dr. Michels, he was able to identify the problem and set up a plan to successfully treat me. After years of pain and depression, joy has returned to my life.
