My son was experiencing chronic pain due to a neck injury. It was so bad he had to drop from his semester at the university. He had visited numerous doctors with no relief. A friend referred us to Dr. Michels. On his first visit he performed an extensive examination and had a comprehensive plan for his recovery. Dr. John Michels has helped me deal with severe back pain. He is always compassionate, understanding, and very positive. I would recommend him to anyone suffering with any sort of chronic pain.
I wish more doctors were as caring, nice and professional. I went to him for really bad back pain and after 3 steroid injections my pain totally disappeared. If there were more than 5 stars, I’d give them for Dr Michels!!
Outstanding in every aspect. If you have a back issue, Dr Michels will examine it objectively and pull no punches with diagnosis. If the condition is within the scope of his practice, he will treat you with expertise and see to it that you understand what’s going on. If he refers you, pay attention, because he is as demanding of colleagues as he is of himself. If you’re a pain druggie looking for a patsy, go back to your yellow pages.
