Dr. Shank was very down to earth, didn’t talk to me in a language I didn’t understand, and was very personable. The surgery went well and I would recommend him for any orthopedic surgeries you need! 10 Stars!!
Doctor Shank and his staff are very friendly and put you at ease immediately. Communication and followup are excellent. My surgery was an absolute success.
The staff is very friendly and efficient, and Dr. Shank takes the time needed to diagnose and treat the problem, without treating the patient as 'just a foot needing to be healed '. He didn't want to rush into surgery, but used other means to treat my fracture which were very effective. I wish I had known of him before a previous foot surgery. Thank you, Dr. Shank, for a conservative but effective course of treatment.
I’m so pleased. It’s been 11 months since my foot and heel surgery and ten and a half months since my bunion and hammer toe surgery. Recovery does take some time, but that’s ok. Dr. Shank did an extensive surgery, and it has all healed beautifully. My foot, knee and hip on the right side are no longer in pain from my flat feet, bunion, and problems created by them. Thank you! It’s been a blessing!!!
Dr Shank takes his time and explains things well. He gives you options and his opinion when necessary. Overall a great doc.
I went in with a known broken foot. They took more x-rays. He explained to me what my leg would be going through and what it was feeling but he did not describe a boot. He did not tell me what sort of activities I could do. He could not tell me what to do for the pain. Dr Shank operated on my ankle & surrounding tendons. I am good as new and would trust him with my medical care. He is easy to talk to and explains everything well.
Dr. Shank was great. We tried several treatment options before surgery on chronic ankle pain. I want pressured into surgery or any other treatment and felt he listened to what I wanted. I healed quickly from surgery. The office was courteous and friendly the entire way. I was walking way sooner than I expected.
