I agree with many of the positive reviews on this site. Dr. Shefferman and his staff are very professional and friendly. I have been very happy with the service and attention they have provided, from the original consultation to putting on and adjusting the braces, and ultimately to their removal. What's more, the end result is fantastic: my teeth are straight and so much easier to keep clean, all leading to a healthier and happier smile.
I had a bad bite and my front teeth were so crooked it was hard to keep them clean. After the braces and aftercare my teeth ar straight, about 22 shades brighter than they were, my bite is perfect, and my teeth are stain free because they are so easy to keep clean.
Dr. Shefferman is an outstanding orthodontist. The treatment he provided to my daughter over the past 4 years has been excellent. I would highly recommend other patients to him.
Dr. Shefferman is by far the best orthodontist in the Washington DC and surrounding area. I know from experience since when two other top area orthodontists could not fix my daughter's teeth ( my daughter is very picky about her teeth), Dr. Shefferman came to the rescue. I cannot offer enough praise for Dr. Shefferman and his staff. They are talented professionals who have the ability to make their patients feel welcome and relaxed from the start of the very first visit. My general dentist referred me to Dr. Shefferman with the thought that I might need orthodontic work prior to TMJ treatment. Happily, Dr. Shefferman took the conservative approach and patiently adjusted a night splint which has essentially eliminated my symptoms. There cannot be a better orthodontist in the area.
Dr. Shefferman and his staff are very competent and are very friendly. They knew what they were doing and made me feel very safe.

Great results with Dr. Shefferman and his staff. Painless procedure even though I had plenty of anxiety going into the process. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone for whatever dental procedure is necessary.
I want to say since I was 7 years old I had crooked teeth. My smile embarrassed me most of the time. I visited many orthodontists that would tell me that they had to take out some teeth for my smile to be perfect I did not want any more teeth remove until I found Dr Shefferman.
