My daughter just completed 4 years of ortho with Dr. Shefferman, and it has been a pleasure for her and for me as the parent watching her change. As a member of the dental profession, I was indeed impressed by Dr. Shefferman and his wonderful staff. They always explained every step and phase of treatment and why it was being done. Dr. Shefferman and his staff are friendly and very easy to work with. He doesn't work with any insurance companies so the cost is a bit higher, but if you can put up with the added charge, I would definitely recommend Dr. Shefferman for other young professionals like myself. (Braces aren't that bad after all!)
Dr. Shefferman has a terrific PR campaign. In practice, however, he's very disappointing. My son wanted Invisaligns prior to starting his first job in another city. He explained this in the initial visit and was told no problem there would be an adjustment on the routine visits necessary. During the fitting process a dental technician broke one of his front porcelains. Dr. Shefferman stonewalled, accepted no responsibility AND when my son moved after two months and had to go to a new orthodonist, Shefferman demanded full pay... read more
As a kid I could NOT stop sucking my thumb, he had the perfect solution and got me to stop! I had my braces put on after 6th grade, I am now 25 years old and my teeth still look fantastic! He was always a fun and polite doctor and made me feel comfortable every time I went in for my tightening. If I ever felt discomfort or had a problem with my braces he would fix them up quickly and efficiently! Go Dr. Shefferman! Dr. Shefferman and his staff have worked with both my daughters providing them both with beautiful teeth that should last a lifetime. Celia Bassols
Dr. Shefferman is very pleasant and calm. His staff was very easy to work with, anytime I needed an extra copy of a bill for insurance purposes, etc. They run word scramble or trivia contests every month where patients can win iPods or such, and there is a choo-choo train running around the top of his office! I would defintely recommend him to anyone!
The staff at Shefferman's office is completely accommodating. They let me come in at a moment's notice to fix a broken bracket, give me samples of wax and floss whenever I run out, and most importantly, value my input as to the progress of my treatment. Staff is also very careful to ensure that the sanding and tightening is not too painful, which I appreciate. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shefferman to my friends and family.
The cost is not inexpensive but the service is awesome! I really like that I can see my appointments, dental pictures, and other info online. Everyone at Dr. Shefferman's office, including the Dr., is super friendly and very accomadating. I highly recommend them! :)
It was good experience and suited my needs. The staff was very friendly and I liked the way they treat their customers.
