I had a very positive experience with Dr. Shefferman and his staff throughout my Invisalign treatment. I came with a lot of questions based on my experience with orthodontia work when I was a kid. He and his staff provided the information I needed to make my decision and to reassure me throughout. The treatment was successful and my bite is vastly improved. I would definitely recommend him.
I was supposed to extract 4 teeth, but I didn't want to lose 4. Dr. Shefferman came up with other option with 2 teeth extraction, explained clearly how the final appearence would be different compared to 4 teeth extraction. I completed the treatment, and I'm very satisfied with the appearance, and keep more teeth! We switched to Dr. Shefferman mid treatment because we were unhappy with our other ortho. From our first appointment we could tell that Dr. Shefferman was superior. He was more knowledgable, more accessible, more personable and more reasonable. My son was so happy with Dr. Shefferman, he was compliant with wearing rubber bands and was able to get his braces off ahead of schedule. Dr. Shefferman was recommended to me by a neighbor, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the Invisalign experience I had. Of course most people are resentful towards their orthodontists, especially if you had to get braces (like me), but Dr. Shefferman is really great, he made the whole braces process easier and I always looked forward to the visits because the people at his office are amazing and so much fun to talk to, even once when I was crying in pain of just getting braces they managed to cheer me up and make me laugh. I definitely recommend seeing Dr. Shefferman, he is funny and knows exactly how to help!
I was extremely happy with the entire experience with Dr. Shefferman and all the staff. My situation was complex, and took a longer than usual amount of time, as Dr. Shefferman worked to pull impacted teeth that were unexposed in the roof of my mouth. Dr. Shefferman did my invisalign for my top and bottom teeth. I never had braces so I was starting from scratch and I could not be more pleased with the results - he even had a second round of molds made to get my teeth perfectly straight. It was a smashing success!
