He has been phenomenal with his explanation of what to expect per and post op!! His team is on top of everything. He and his team are very thorough and positive . I found some surgeons are arrogant and talk down to patients, he is anything but . I have already recommended him to two friends who will potentially need hip/ knee replacement in the future.

Good bedside manner and very caring.
I have now had two procedures done with Dr Neilson. I have found Dr. Neilson to be very knowledgable concerning the procedures and he made me feel comfortable about what was going to be done. The follow up by Dr Neilson and his staff made me feel confident I was heading in the right direction to recovery. They were there when I needed questions answered checked on me regularly. I am very satisfied.
He is very truthful and tells it like it is and make sure you understand everything that is going to happen and what you can expect
Dr Neilson is a true genius. I was walking without cain after 2 weeks with no pain. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
I felt Dr Neilson provided an informative,honest explanation of what to expect from knee replacement. Also allows for time to ask questions, I never felt rushed.
Mine was a emergency surgery and dr neilson made time to perform it despite his busy schedule. I am 2 weeks out on a total hip replacement and improving each day. He is extremely nice and very caring.
