Dr Nelson preformed a perfect knee replacement on a complicated patient with brittle bones. I definitely would refer him for joint replacement!!

This is my first surgery in more than 20 years. I was very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff at the hospital. Dr. Neilson was, as I expected, very informative and my recovery is going well. Dr Neilson met with my husband after the surgery and my husband was very happy with the Doctor's explanation and willingness to spend time discussing how the surgery went.
Dr. Neilson is kind and caring. He makes you feel welcome, and you can feel that he is interested in you and wants to help you. I felt very at ease and very much appreciated his friendliness.
Dr.Neilson has a great bed side manner. Talks about your expectation post surgery, Work up via xrays, Considers if Therapy needs to be done before considering surgery ? He and his staff are in contact almost daily on My-Chart, post surgery. Adjusted my pain meds to help the trama before leaving hospital. Dr. instructed me to make sure I see Anesthesiologist before surgery.( a must). This was my 2nd Hip surgery in three months. Yes ,both sides. Recovery is challenging, but worth it. Dr. Neilson is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. His staff is well organized and work very well as a team.
Dr Nielson and his staff explain everything very well, they are good people. They listen to all concerns , and take care of all questions immediately
Was able to go into surgery completely informed which eliminated a great deal of stress.
