Dr Meding is one of the best in the business, he is very friendly and knowledgeable about the process to be done. He has the best bedside manner and always makes you comfortable about the procedure. Highly recommend and very glad I came to Mooresville hospital.
The process from determing (on my 1st visit with him) is I needed TKR on both legs through the surgery day was very smooth and rather quick, just a couple of months They do a good job of checking you out with in a couple of weeks before your surgery to make sure there are not any issues with your health that could cause complications. I had bilaterial TKR, and I am so glad I did.

Very easy to talk to..listened to my concerns and gave me options. Surgical staff and post op staff absolutely the best. I am a nurse with high expectations of care and the staff exceeded my expectations beyond my hopes and dreams. Absolutely wonderful care. From the kitchen staff to the physical therapy team. Every one was great. The nursing staff went over and above. Thank you all. He is a good doctor and a very nice man. The issue in going there is follow up and getting information from the staff, such accurate information on test results - the actual results, the whys, what's next kind of things. He seems to leave it to staff. Getting an appointment is a problem and is normally about 2 months to get in. So if you want a really good surgeon, he is your man. Just be prepared for the frustration that follows.
