I would always recommend getting a second opinion with Dr. Chacko. We did not have a good feeling with him as he was off putting and didn’t go even go over the sonogram results we just had. Instead he said our child had an additional, different health issue that would need surgery. We have had three other doctors tell us otherwise since and have found a new pediatric urologist.There are many other reviews across many sites stating they had a similar response and it seems he is very quick to recommend surgery.
Dr. Chacko and his Colorado Springs staff are absolutely wonderful! They are so personable and kind and Dr. Chacko was so reassuring to my 12 year old son during surgery and helped calm his fears. My pediatrician recommended him over the doctors at Children’s and I’m so thankful! I would highly recommend Dr. Chacko for all your pediatric urology needs and the fact that he comes to the Springs periodically for appointments is SUPER convenient!
I highly recommend getting a second opinion. Something just felt off and I’m so happy we got a second opinion from Children’s hospital before moving forward. His office staff at the Denver location is terrible and the surgery scheduler couldn’t care less how old your child is for fasting concerns before surgery.
Dr Chacko was great with our son who had to have a surgery at 9 months old. He communicated well with us & made us know that our son was in good hands.
