Not a good moving company. I have used many professional moving companies over the years from across town moves to multi state moves. I would say this was the worst moving company thus far. First, the estimation process was inadequate. The day the moving truck arrived, it was already half full with someone else's items. The movers tried their best, but they had to end up strapping several items to the back of the truck, exposed to the elements. The moving crew was thorough, patient, careful. I appreciated their humor. It was 105 degrees the day they loaded the boxes and furniture.

We used JK Moving for a long distance move and I do NOT recommend. They stripped our furniture when dissembling. It's been over a month since they delivered our furniture and beds are still on the floor because they haven't send anyone to fix the damage they caused. Customer service is the absolute worse. I was told by the rep, "My job is to convince you that our system works." She never said it was to help us with the problems they caused. Beware of the estimating process. I am so frustrated with JK moving. We booked them knowing they were the more expensive company to go with but had great reviews and sounded like they would have great customer service. Not only did our final total increase by over 20% of the estimate, the communication or complete lack there of has been abysmal. We were given a 3 day window initially then later they confirmed the date. We booked our lodging, visits, and coordination with our dog along our route according to that date. This is the third time we have used JK Moving Services and we are absolutely thrilled with their service! From booking the move, and through pickup and delivery they were professional, knowledgeable, experienced and very accommodating and polite. The crew showed up on time and were amazing and efficient! Wonderful people to work with! The packers were careful, the movers were exceptional and never stopped until we were finished! I highly recommend this company. In the 22 years in the military and all the moves we made, this was the best experience!
