Jimmy Ds is a bad and unsafe place to go as they discriminate against people. It's very sad to go somewhere in Pittsburgh and there's no safety and the bartenders and security don't do there jobs without discriminating. The management is also nowhere to be found while anything is needed by customers and our group will never be back as we we're treated so terribly and even asked to see a manager and they refuse to get one. My first time there I loved it. But we came from out of town hour + away just to get kicked out in the most disrespectful way we weren't fighting we weren't making a scene nothing rude of any nature. Then not only did we get kicked out like trash the bouncer that kicked us out waited to get off work found us at a pizza shop and jumped us hit a female split her lip open then ran like wtf never again. Good place to chill on weekends! I have been here many times and I just love the music. Drinks are cheap, $5 for most of them but they only accept cash.

Security always try to find some reason not to let me in. the security ask me if my glasses are prescription.The next time they said my pants wasn't tight enough. I'm beginning to think its more than what i wearing?.

My original review of this place was a 5 and anytime anyone ever asked me where to go on Carson street I would tell them to go to jimmy d's good atmosphere and dancing and good bartenders! I used to come home on Liberty from the marine corps with some fellow marines and we always went here, but the last time I was in pittsburgh I got told I couldn't go in because I had boots on, there were marine corps issued boots, the door man was extremely rude and said you think I care if you served, I don't care!
